Hello, my name is Alicia, I am a Cheltenham based behaviourist specialising in complex behaviour problems. My little family is made up of myself, my daughter and our rescue pets, Dottie and Tiptoe. Dottie is a rescue dalmatian from Dogs Trust and Tiptoe is a rescue cat from RSPCA.

I have always been passionate about animals and grew up with cats and a Labradoodle called Bailey. Bailey is the reason I love training and behaviour today, from teaching him tricks and obedience at puppy classes to him helping me pass training modules at university with flying colours. He definitely taught me a lot about training and I'm forever grateful for my big scruffy boy. I absolutely love training and helping to improve the lives of dogs that I've worked with. I am passionate about training functional behaviours that will help dogs make good choices when in the home and out and about.

MRes Animal Behaviour and Welfare - First class

In addition to my degree and masters degree, I also have over 9 years experience working directly with dogs for some of the biggest animal welfare charities in the UK as a dog trainer. I am very proud to say that I have helped care for and train 1000's of dogs over the years and supporting them in their new homes when needed.

Having worked in rescue I understand that often rescue dogs require a little extra help once they've found their new home, by using a positive pragmatic approach I can help give owners the tools to help modify their dog's behaviour. I specialise in dogs with many different behavioural issues such as resource guarding, aggression, reactivity towards dogs or people, frustration, multi dog/pet household and much more.

In addition to this, I plan on becoming a member of the APBC in the near future. I am also fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary.
